Warkworth village is jam packed with cottages to hire, bed and breakfasts and hotels.

If you wish to stay for the week (Friday to Friday) or for a long weekend (Friday - Monday or Tuesday) Coquet cottages are absolutely lovely and all 5 star. Prices range from 70-90 € / £60-80 per night per couple. However the cottages need to be booked by the end of June 08 (yes, 08). You can take a look at the site to get a better idea:

There are 2 hotels in the village, one the Sun Inn which is being booked out for my side of the family. Prices are approximately £75 per night. The other, The Warkworth House Hotel is also very nice but quite pricey; rooms are around £115/ 125€ per night. http://www.warkworthhousehotel.co.uk/
